Inspire Gilbert Speech and Debate Club is focused on helping your youth become empowered with communication skills they will need for college and beyond. We are the only speech and debate club in Arizona open to all faiths and all school types. Our club is affiliated with the American Speech and Debate Association and club students are expected to compete with ASDA during the spring semester.  

Inspire Gilbert offers both an online option on Tuesday evenings and an in-person option on Friday afternoons. The online class on Tuesday focuses on the seven speech events and is available for varsity students (6th-12th grades). The in-person club on Friday offers juniors speech (ages 8-11), varsity speech and varsity debate (6th-12th grade). As a non-profit, our goal is to provide high-quality education and a whole lot of fun without breaking your budget. Inspire Gilbert is an approved ESA Vendor and we offer Direct Pay to make it easier for ESA families. 

During club, whether in person or online, we take turns being the keynote speaker giving an inspirational message, then as a group we have a 20-30 minute lesson on either speech or debate. After the lesson, we work together to brainstorm, write, edit and present speeches. On debate weeks after the lesson we have practice debates, research together, or discuss details related to our cases. It is a collaborative opportunity to grow.
